The War That Never Ends

November 28, 2025

“Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring—those who keep God’s commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus.” — Revelation 12:17

This war didn’t start with you, and it won’t end with you. From Eden to Revelation, Scripture makes one truth unmistakably clear: the people of God live in a world at war. The serpent that whispered in the garden is the same dragon raging in Revelation. His rage is relentless because he knows his time is short.

Every generation of believers has felt this pressure. The early church faced Rome. The prophets faced kings. The apostles faced mobs, prisons, and crosses. And yet — the Kingdom has never stopped advancing. Satan can rage, but he cannot win.

Revelation 12 is sobering. It tells us the dragon makes war against those who keep God’s commands and hold to the testimony of Jesus. That’s you. If you belong to Christ, you are part of a war story that stretches beyond your lifetime. That means resistance should not surprise you — it should awaken you.

The enemy’s attacks are not signs of your weakness but of your position in the story. You’ve been marked as one who carries light into darkness. But you do not fight a losing battle. You stand in a war where the decisive blow has already been struck. The Lamb has triumphed. The serpent’s head has been crushed.

We do not wait to see if victory will come. We fight because victory has already been secured. Every stand for truth, every prayer whispered in the dark, every act of faithfulness in the face of pressure is part of God’s great campaign to display His glory.

This war will continue until Christ returns and makes all things new. But you have been chosen to fight in this hour — to carry the torch in your generation. Don’t shrink back. Don’t live like a civilian in a war zone. Lift your head, soldier of the Kingdom. The Lamb wins.
