The Unseen Hand

November 26, 2025

“Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” — 2 Kings 6:16

There are moments in this war when your eyes tell you a lie. The enemy looks bigger. The odds look impossible. The pressure feels suffocating. And everything in you wants to surrender because what you can see feels louder than what you believe.

That’s where Elisha’s servant stood. When he stepped outside that morning, the Syrian army surrounded the city. Every hill was filled with horses, chariots, soldiers — a wall of force against two men. His fear made sense. But Elisha looked at the same army and didn’t flinch. He prayed, “Lord, open his eyes.”

And suddenly the servant saw what was already true: the hills were filled with horses and chariots of fire. The armies of Heaven had been there the whole time. Nothing had changed in the natural — but everything changed when the servant saw the unseen.

This is the reality of spiritual war. What you see is never the whole story. God moves armies, shifts circumstances, commands angels, and intervenes with precision. But He doesn’t always show His hand right away. He lets you stand long enough for faith to take root.

The unseen hand of God has always been the deciding factor in every battle. Israel didn’t part the Red Sea — God did. David didn’t outmatch Goliath — the hand of Heaven guided that stone. The early church didn’t spread the gospel through cleverness — the Spirit went before them and shook empires.

Brother, the next time the enemy surrounds you, remember this: the roar of God, the armies of Heaven, and the power of the Spirit stand with you. You are never outnumbered. The only time the enemy wins is when you believe what you see more than what God has said.

The unseen hand of Heaven is not theoretical. It’s real, and it’s moving even when your eyes can’t perceive it. Stand your ground, because the God who commands angels fights for you.
